Prior to establishing her independent practice, Kelly was an attorney at Mayer Brown where she represented high-profile clients such as Google, Nestle, and Pandora Media in copyright infringement and misuse cases. She also helped individual creators protect and enforce their intellectual property rights.
Kelly previously worked for the Los Angeles City Council advising on issues involving housing, transportation, and public safety. She also served as a Legislative Aide for the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs; a law clerk for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office; and a Law Fellow for the nonprofit California Lawyers for the Arts.
Experience
Kelly graduated from UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) and received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from UCLA. While in law school, Kelly was a member of her school’s Alternative Dispute Resolution team. She served as a staff editor and events coordinator for the Communications and Entertainment Law Journal.
A California native, Kelly is passionate about music and artist advocacy. She is a member of Songwriters of North America (SONA) and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
